Sabih Farooq

Sabih Farooq began their career in 2014 as a Data Scientist - Project Manager at NC State University, where they worked until 2016. Sabih then moved on to work at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBiotech) in Business Development from 2015 to 2016. In 2015, they joined Patheon as a Procurement Project Manager, before transitioning to Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2017. At Thermo Fisher Scientific, Sabih held roles such as Procurement Operations and Sourcing Manager, Operations Manager - Head of Cell Culture, and Senior Manager, Business Management until 2022. Currently, they serve as the Director of Supply Chain at Opthea since 2022.

Sabih Farooq completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology from North Carolina State University in 2011. Sabih then pursued a Master's degree in Microbial Biotechnology and Upstream Biomanufacturing Graduate Certificate from the same university, graduating in 2014. Later, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from NC State Poole College of Management in 2015. In 2018, they obtained the APICS CPIM certification from APICS.
