Ryan Johnston is a Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer at Optima Engineering PA since April 2019, previously serving as a Plumbing and Fire Protection Design Co-Op. Prior experience includes roles with Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity as Philanthropy Chairman, Athletic Chairman, and Community Service Chairman from March 2018 to August 2021. Ryan also completed a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Corning Incorporated, where responsibilities included shadowing operations and supporting various projects, and a summer internship at Laurene, Rickher, & Sorrell, PC, focusing on structural engineering using AutoCAD, Revit, and RISA. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, earned in 2021, and previously graduated from Cuthbertson High School in 2017.
