Principal Occupational Therapist at Optimal Support

Julia Paltridge is an experienced Principal Occupational Therapist, currently serving at Optimal Support since October 2020. Prior to this role, Julia worked as a Principal Occupational Therapist at Actual Rehab from November 2019 to March 2023 and operated as an Independent Rehabilitation Consultant and Occupational Therapist from July 2018 to March 2020. Julia’s earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Rehabilitation Specialist at IPAR from January 2014 to July 2018. Julia holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Australia, earned between 2010 and 2013. Additionally, Julia is furthering professional expertise through Graduate Certificates in Diagnosis and Assessment of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder from The University of Western Australia, and Autism Studies from Griffith University, both of which span from 2022 to 2024.

Optimal Support

We are a small collective of allied health professionals and support services who live and work by the values of compassion, honesty and integrity. We have come together with the purpose to work with both participants of the NDIS and private clients to provide objective, client-centred and holistic assessments and therapy for anyone and everyone, across the lifespan and regardless of circumstances, for a number of objectives. Our services are always tailored to meet the needs of our clients while also working within the NDIS framework where relevant to ensure the best outcome for all. We aim to empower those we work with to have control over their lives and help them make informed choices about how they live. We are not bound by environmental barriers and provide services to people across the country in metro, regional and remote locations. We practice with intention and are passionate about connecting authentically with our clients to truly understand them and their needs so that our interactions are always positive and work towards a client-centred goal using evidence-based practices.
