Richard Sithole has extensive experience as a Frontend Lead Developer, with a focus on designing application architecture and improving web performance. Richard is proficient in Angular and related technologies, as well as Electron, Cordova, Capacitor, and Angular, using them to develop reliable Desktop, Web, and Mobile applications. Before joining OPTIMAL SYSTEMS GmbH in 2020, Richard worked as an Angular Web Developer at Britehouse, where they delivered front-end applications using Angular and ensured high performance on mobile and desktop devices. Prior to that, they held roles as a Product Manager and Business Analyst at Internet Solutions, a Business Process Analyst at MTN, a Business Analyst at MTN Business, and a Technical Data Support specialist at MTN.
Richard Sithole has a diverse education history. Richard began their studies in 1995 at Giyani High, where they earned a Matric Certificate in Computer Science in 2000. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Informatics (Information Systems) at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2010 to 2013. During this time, they also completed additional certifications such as ITiL V3 Foundation in 2015 and ScrumMaster in 2014. In 2013, Richard furthered their education by completing a Bachelor of Commerce (Informatics) with Honors (Cum Laude) at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Richard continued their education in the field of Computer Software Engineering, completing a Web Development course at freeCodeCamp in 2016 and a Udemy Academy Web Development course in 2017. Richard also obtained a Mobile Web Specialist Nanodegree from Udacity in 2018. In terms of language learning, they acquired certifications in German from the Goethe-Institut e.V. and Lingoda GmbH between 2021 and 2022. Overall, Richard Sithole has consistently pursued education in the fields of commerce, informatics, and computer software engineering, while also seeking additional certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills.
