Glen Vandenboom

Glen Vandenboom is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as a PreSales Engineer - Characterization at OptimalPlus since October 2016. Previously, Glen held the position of Sr. Test Engineer at Harbor Electronics from September 2012 to September 2016. Prior to that, Glen was a Product Engineering Manager at Xilinx from January 2002 to August 2008, where responsibilities included hiring, training, and managing a team focused on power characterization of FPGAs. Earlier in Glen's career, work as a Product Verification Engineer involved leading the product engineering team for the development of the Spartan FPGA product lines from January 1998 to January 2002, and as a Product Engineer at Xilinx from January 1995 to January 1998, Glen generated test vectors and developed test programs for FPGA families. Glen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
