Edwin Klaps

Edwin Klaps is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector, currently serving as Managing Director of the Broker Channel and Non-Life Development at AG Insurance since September 1992. Klaps has held various leadership roles, including Director of Business Development, General Manager for Non-Life Development, and Head of Brokers Network at AG Insurance. In addition to his primary role, Klaps is actively involved in multiple board positions, including Chairman of Touring and Homeras, and membership on the boards of Optimile, Assuralia, AlphaCredit, Portima, DrySolutions, and previously at Respo Group and WILLEMOT. Klaps holds a Master in Engineering in Computer Science and a Master in Business Administration from KU Leuven, along with a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration.
