Karla Calheiros 🏳️🌈

Karla Calheiros has a diverse work experience in the field of creative copywriting. Karla started their career as a Creative/Copywriter Intern at WMcCann in 2012, followed by an internship at FCB Global. In 2013, they worked as a freelance Creative/Copywriter at ID\TBWA.

In 2014, Karla worked as a Creative/Copywriter Intern at Serviceplan Group before joining Sunset Comunicação as a Junior Creative/Copywriter. Later that year, they joined Jandl, marketing a reklama, s.r.o as a Creative/Copywriter.

In 2016, Karla worked briefly as a Creative/Copywriter at Young & Rubicam and then as a Freelance Creative/Copywriter at Fallon Prague. The following year, they joined Havas Prague as a Senior Creative/Copywriter, where they contributed to winning five new accounts and delivered proactive creative proposals to existing clients such as AXA, Prague Pride, UNIPETROL, Qatar Airways, and more.

Currently, Karla holds the position of Creative/Copywriter at Optimist Inc., where they develop concepts and ideas for the ŠKODA brand and its products on a global scale, from car launches to social media posts and brand campaigns.

Throughout their work experience, Karla has accumulated a strong portfolio of creative projects and has showcased their ability to push creative boundaries and deliver effective campaigns for various clients in the advertising industry.

Karla Calheiros 🏳️‍🌈 began their education in 1999 at Allen County Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Psychology. Karla completed this program in 2001. In 2010, Karla attended Miami Ad School (M.AD School) and focused on Copywriting for four years, graduating in 2014. Later, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued an Associate's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at Centro Universitário da Grande Dourados.

Aside from their formal education, Karla has acquired several certifications. In 2020, they obtained a certification in "Competências Profissionais, Emocionais e Tecnológicas para Tempos de Mudança" from PUCRS. In 2020, they also received a certification in "Inteligencia Emocional" from Escola Conquer. Additionally, Karla acquired a certification in "Copywriting with Fabio Seidl" from Escola Cuca in 2018. Prior to this, they earned certificates in topics such as filmmaking from the National Film & Television School, screenwriting from the University of East Anglia, and digital marketing from Internet Innovation in 2016 and 2011 respectively. Karla also obtained certifications in subjects like "Brand Storytelling" from D&AD in 2015 and "The Internet Of Things" from King's College London in 2016. Most recently, in 2022, Karla obtained certifications in "Linguagem e Pensamento Crítico - Uma Introdução à Linguística," "A Arte de Comunicar: Persuasão, Negociação e Oratória," "Persuasão e Influência: O poder da fala," and "Sócrates e Platão" from Casa do Saber.
