Marcus Börner

Marcus Börner is a German entrepreneur and business executive. Marcus is currently the co-founder and CEO of OptioPay, a financial technology company. Prior to this, they were a founding partner at AlphaQ Venture Capital, and the founder and executive chairman of OptioPay GmbH. Marcus has also been a shareholder, founder, and CEO of reBuy reCommerce GmbH, and a member of the FinTech Council at the Bundesministerium der Finanzen (Federal Ministry of Finance). In addition, Börner has been a founding shareholder and member of the board of GROW MY TREE, a shareholder in hapily training GmbH, and the founder of bc-ventures.de. Marcus has also been a shareholder in Grab, CLARK, Emma Technologies, FinCompare, HUMANOO, simplesurance GmbH, OMQ GmbH, GYANT, CAYA, Penseo GmbH, itembase, Inc., Service Partner ONE GmbH, Gebraucht.de, Billie, Valendo, REMERGE, GamerClub GmbH, youmix GmbH, and IGS GmbH.
