Vic Degraeve is a technology professional with extensive experience in software development and machine learning. As Co-founder and CTO of Optioryx since September 2022, Vic leverages skills honed through previous roles, including researcher at UGent, where fundamental research focused on Graph Convolutional Networks and applications of machine learning in neuromodulation. Experience also includes software engineering at Ghent University, where Vic managed an app for ambulant data collection in personalized medicine, and a tenure as a machine learning engineer at TechWolf, where Vic researched automated skill discovery from job vacancies. Earlier work as a web developer at KMO Campus focused on building custom content management systems for course registrations. Vic holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Ghent University.
