Jacques Gay is a seasoned professional in the technical sales and motion capture industry, currently serving as the Senior Technical Sales Manager at OptiTrack since October 2022, focusing on motion capture, virtual production, movement sciences, VR, animation, and robotics across the UK, Ireland, South Africa, and Iberia. Prior to this role, Jacques held positions at Delsys Europe as a Product Specialist and spent over 14 years at Vicon in various roles, including Distributor Success Manager and Senior Support Engineer. Jacques began the career as the Motion Capture Lab Manager at the University of Cape Town, overseeing the operation of motion capture equipment and training personnel. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Exercise Science from the University of Cape Town and a BSc (Hons) in Sport Science from the University of Brighton.
