Shweta Arya

Shweta Arya is a highly experienced professional in sustainable investing and innovation, currently serving as Director at OPTrust since 2020. Prior to this role, Shweta held positions as a Consultant at Dalberg, focusing on strategic advisory for frontier and emerging markets from 2018 to 2020, and as an Associate at Bain & Company in 2017. Earlier experience includes work as a Consultant at Albright Stonebridge Group in commercial diplomacy and geopolitical risk in 2016, an Associate in sustainable and impact investment strategy at U.S. Trust in 2015, and a Consultant with the World Bank's Development Economics & Research Group from 2010 to 2014. Shweta began the professional career as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration in International Development and an MBA from Harvard Kennedy School and The Wharton School, respectively, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Dallas.
