Fred Glover has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Fred is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Entanglement, Inc., a role they have held since February 2022. Fred is also the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Meta-Analytics since 2018. Prior to these roles, they co-founded OptTek Systems, Inc. in 1992 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Fred's work at OptTek focused on optimization technology in various industries, such as simulation, renewable energy, healthcare, and supply chain management. Before their industry ventures, Fred held various academic positions, including Distinguished Professor, Emeritus at the University of Colorado, Boulder from 1970 to 2006, and Associate Professor at the University of Texas, Austin from 1967 to 1970.
Fred Glover completed their education at Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business, where they pursued a Ph.D. in Operations Research from 1962 to 1965. Prior to that, they also studied at Carnegie Mellon University from 1961 to 1965, earning a Ph.D. in optimization.
