Trace Hybertson has been working as a Software Engineer at OptTek Systems, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to that, from June 2019 to February 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at FIS, where they maintained and modernized legacy applications, built new solutions, and handled client requests. During their time at FIS, they worked with various applications such as General Ledger, Corporate Products, and Transport Applications, as well as Deposits, Loans, and Teller Host applications. Trace's experience at FIS primarily focused on COBOL and JCL on a Z/OS IBM Mainframe Environment. Before their software engineering roles, they served as the President of Fiddlers of Lawrence University from December 2017 to June 2019. Additionally, Trace worked as a Crew Member and Store Manager at the Appalachian Mountain Club from July 2016 to August 2017, where they primarily dealt with retail management and store operations.
Trace Hybertson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Lawrence University from 2015 to 2019. In 2017, they also participated in a program called India Studies: Associated Colleges of the Midwest, where they studied Culture, History, and Music.
