Mehdi Zakerifar

Mehdi Zakerifar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and optimization modeling, currently serving as a Senior Systems Engineer at Optym since November 2013. Mehdi has contributed to the development of various optimization and simulation applications for the airline and rail industries. Prior to this role, Mehdi worked as a Post-Doctoral Associate at the University of Louisville, focusing on algorithm design for a real-time decision support system in healthcare. Other notable positions include Systems Engineer at Innovations International, LLC, Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisville, and Systems Developer at HamoonSoft. Mehdi holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Louisville, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, and a BS in Applied Mathematics from the University of Tehran.
