Omar Khalif

Omar Khalif is an IT Security Engineer at Opus 2 since July 2023, previously serving as a SOC Analyst from June 2022 to July 2023, where responsibilities included log analysis with Azure Sentinel SIEM and investigating phishing threats. Omar also held the position of ICT Analyst at New Forest District Council, leading teams and improving security protocols through vulnerability scans, and began a career as a Technology Support Assistant at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, gaining foundational IT skills. Omar holds a degree in Forensic Computing and Security from Bournemouth University, completed in 2017.
