Michael Birlo is an experienced optical designer specializing in the design and optimization of high-performance imaging and projection systems. Currently serving as a Senior Optical Designer at OQmented since September 2022, Michael has held previous positions at Jena-Optronik GmbH, Jabil Optics Germany GmbH, Docter Optics SE, Truck-Lite Europe GmbH, and Carl Zeiss AG, progressing from Optical Designer to Optical Design Engineer. Michael's educational background includes a Diplom-Physiker degree in Physics from Bielefeld University, obtained in 2013, following initial studies at the same institution from 2001 to 2009.
