Steven Smith

Steven Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and program management, currently serving as the Business Development Manager at Orbital Composites since January 2025. In this role, Steven leads initiatives in additive manufacturing and advanced composites, focusing on strategic partnerships and market opportunities within the aerospace and defense sectors. Prior to Orbital Composites, Steven was the Program Manager at Check Defense, LLC, overseeing the Master IDIQ TSS-E contract. Steven's military background includes significant roles at the US Army Special Warfare Center, where responsibilities encompassed managing training programs and curriculum development for Special Forces, alongside leadership positions within the Army Special Forces and the US Army. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Charleston School of Business and an Associate of Arts from Fayetteville Technical Community College, supplemented by completion of the United States Army Ranger School.
