Fergal Mullally is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the field of astronomy and data analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Orbital Insight since April 2016, Fergal Mullally has led cross-functional teams to develop proof of concept models, defined customer requirements, and conducted quality assessments on models using satellite imagery. Previously, Fergal served as a Support Scientist at the SETI Institute from August 2010 to April 2016, where leadership of a team of 15 astronomers resulted in the creation of the first catalog of planets from NASA's Kepler mission. Additionally, Fergal contributed as a Support Scientist for the Sloan Digital Sky Survey and Large Synoptic Sky Survey missions from August 2007 to July 2010. Fergal Mullally holds a PhD in Astronomy from The University of Texas at Austin and a degree in Physics from University College Dublin.
