Rocío Berjón

Rockie C. is a seasoned professional in the field of life sciences, currently serving as a Program Manager at Lonza since March 2023. Previously, Rockie held the position of Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., where leadership in product development and automation of genomics-based diagnostics was demonstrated, alongside expertise in clinical biomarkers and regulatory submissions. Rockie's experience also includes a role as Senior Scientist and Scientist II at Senti Biosciences, focusing on IND-enabling projects in immunology and synthetic biology, and serving as the technical lead for gene therapy initiatives in collaboration with Roche companies. Rockie began a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, after earning a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
