Gary Lonergan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gary started their career in 1998 as a Summer Intern at Genencor, A Danisco Division. In 2007, they joined Sanofi Genzyme as a QC Biochemist, where they worked until 2012. Gary then moved to Almac Group, where they held various roles including QC Analyst, Quality Compliance Officer, Product Quality Officer, and Quality Assurance Team Leader. Gary worked at Almac Group from 2012 to 2021. Currently, Gary is working at Orchestra BioMed as a Sr. Principal Quality Associate, starting from July 2021.
Gary Lonergan earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Precision Medicine from Ulster University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University College Dublin, graduating between 1998 and 2002.
