Marianne Perron

Marianne Perron is a seasoned professional in the music and arts sector with extensive experience at the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal since 1999, serving in various leadership roles such as Directrice principale, secteur artistique, Directrice principale, Programmation musicale et développement artistique, and Directrice de la programmation musicale. Prior to this, Marianne Perron held positions at the Orchestre National de Lyon and Chapelle historique du Bon-Pasteur, contributing to programming and audience development. An educator as well, Marianne Perron taught musical aesthetics at Conservatoire Lassalle. Academic credentials include advanced degrees in cultural management and project development from École des Hautes Études Commerciales and a master's in musicology from Université de Montréal, complemented by previous studies in music history and violin performance at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec à Montréal.
