Brian Lewis has worked in the software engineering and application support industries since 2008. Brian began their career as an Intern at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) in 2008 and Citi in 2010. In 2011, they joined Barclays as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a tool for fixed income traders to analyze scenarios using Apache Flex, Java, and Spring. Brian also provided insight to Product by designing and implementing a framework to capture and report on application usage data. In 2013, they moved to Experian as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a client-facing portal and API for cross-channel marketing attribution reporting using AngularJS, Java, and Spring. Brian also built a reusable component library and successfully advocated for its adoption across Product teams. In 2015, they joined Ordergroove as a Staff Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer.
Brian Lewis attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Master's Degree in Information Systems Management. From 2005 to 2009, they attended University of Maryland Baltimore County, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management, a Minor in Computer Science, and a Certificate in Decision Making Support. In 2007, they participated in an International Student Exchange Program at Prifysgol Abertawe.
