Max Markowitz began their career in 2009 as a Sales & Marketing Strategy Consultant for Senior Living Specialists. Max then joined Deutsche Bank as a Business Development Associate in the Private Wealth Management/Corporate Finance Management Partnership. In 2012, they joined OrderGroove as an Account Executive, where they were responsible for educating customers on the benefits of monetizing relationships and enabling enterprise clients to incorporate relationship commerce into their business. In 2013, they took a temporary leave from Ordergroove's Sales Team to become the company's first Talent Acquisition Manager, where they were responsible for candidate sourcing and hiring, managing agency partnerships, and building out Ordergroove's employer brand. Max also co-chaired the NYC TalentHack, a job fair held in partnership with Lerer Ventures. Max then returned to OrderGroove as a Market Development Associate.

Max Markowitz received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance: Investment Management from The University of Texas at Austin. Max then attended the Texas McCombs School of Business and completed a semester abroad at the University of Richmond in Florence, Italy.
