Peter Barr-Gillespie is currently the Director at Oregon Bioscience. Prior to this, they were a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Decibel Therapeutics from April 2016 to December 2019. Decibel Therapeutics is a company focused on inner ear disorders. Before that, they were the Scientific Director and Hearing Restoration Project from November 2012 to December 2020. The Hearing Restoration Project is a Consortium made up of scientists who are committed to working collaboratively to find a cure for hearing loss. Prior to that, they were the Chief Research Officer and Executive Vice President at Oregon Health and Science University.
Peter Barr-Gillespie has a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Reed College.
