Allison Hagihara has extensive experience in academic support and advising within collegiate athletics, currently serving as a Learning Specialist and Academic Advisor at Washington State University Athletics since August 2017. In this role, Allison administers assessments, designs individualized study plans for student-athletes with learning disabilities, and coordinates academic programs. Previously, Allison worked as the Assistant Director of Athletics Academic Services, advising at-risk students and analyzing data related to academic progress. Additional experience includes instructing a High School Equivalency Program at Washington State University, serving as a College Preparation Coach with AmeriCorps, and managing a diverse staff at Village Centre Cinemas. Allison holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures from Washington State University.
