Brian Wall serves as the Associate Vice President for Research, Innovation & Economic Impact at Oregon State University since July 2014, also holding roles as Assistant Vice President for Research, Commercialization & Industry Partnerships and interim Associate Vice President for Research. In previous positions from February 2007 to 2014, Brian was Director of the Office for Commercialization & Corporate Development, overseeing industry-sponsored research and commercialization of OSU innovations. Additionally, Brian co-developed and launched the OSU Accelerator, generating funding through licensing income, and has experience as the Director of the Office of Technology Transfer. Brian earned a Master of Science in Science & Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on creating high-tech startups.
