Kim Kirkland is the current Executive Director of Equal Opportunity & Access at Oregon State University. Kim has over 20 years of experience working in the field of Affirmative Action and Diversity Programs. Kim began their career in 1987 as a Manager of EEO & Diversity Programs at GE Aviation. In 2001, they left GE Aviation to become a Consultant for the Meridian Group. In 2004, they took a position as Affirmative Action Officer & Sr. Investigator at Bowling Green State University. Kim has been with Oregon State University since 2008, where they have served in various roles including their current role as Executive Director of Equal Opportunity & Access.

Kim Kirkland's educational career began with a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership Studies from Bowling Green State University. Kim then went on to complete the Institute for Management and Leadership in Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education, where they focused on Education.

They are on a team with Edward Feser - Provost, Patricia Snopkowski - Chief Audit Executive, and Michael Green - Vice President, Finance and Administration. Kim Kirkland reports to Edward J. Ray, President.
