Tracy Onufer

Tracy Onufer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both the military and the wine industry. Currently serving as a Wine Laboratory Research Assistant at Oregon State University since April 2022, Tracy conducts chemical analyses of grapes and wine. Prior experience includes a role as a Harvest Intern at Sokol Blosser Winery, where full involvement in winemaking processes occurred during the 2022 harvest. Tracy also retired from the United States Air Force, having reached the rank of Colonel, and held various leadership positions including Chief of Staff at Special Operations Command South and Vice Commander of the 352d Special Operations Wing. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Enology & Viticulture from Oregon State University and multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School.
