Ming Shi

Ming Shi is an accomplished executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Government Affairs, Market Access & Business Excellence at Organon since February 2021. With a leadership role in the China team, Ming oversees a workforce of approximately 70 staff, focusing on optimizing market access, pricing strategies, and data analytics to enhance business outcomes. Prior to this role, Ming was the Executive Director of Commercial Excellence at Organon, managing commercial activities for about 100 employees, and played a significant role at MSD as Strategy & Planning Director, where pivotal business transformations were spearheaded. Ming has also held positions at leading consulting firms, including Boston Consulting Group, Booz & Company, and McKinsey & Company, and began a career in supply chain management at Nortel Networks. Ming holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and advanced degrees from Southeast University in Electromagnetic Field & Microwave Technology and Information Technology.
