Saminda Udula Ratnayake has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Saminda Udula most recently served as the Head of Channels and Branches at Orient Finance PLC, where they were responsible for devising the branch expansion strategy and overseeing marketing and business development activities. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant General Manager Operations/COO at Multi Finance PLC. Saminda Udula also has extensive experience at People's Leasing & Finance PLC, where they held positions such as Manager, Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, Credit Officer, and Management Trainee. Additionally, Saminda has worked as an Assistant Lecturer/Instructor at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
Saminda Udula Ratnayake attended Trinity College Kandy from 1985 to 1998. In 2001, they enrolled at the University of Peradeniya and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics in 2004. In 2008, Saminda became an Associate Member of CIMA, and from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Colombo. In 2018, they became an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) after studying Marketing/Marketing Management, General.
