Jon Wileman is a Java Software Engineer with extensive experience in software development. Currently at Origami since June 2022, Jon previously held software engineering positions at Hive | Centrica Hive Limited and Apple, where Jon developed a Java web service for a social feature in the Apple Music app. Prior experience includes roles at Omnifone as a Java Developer, contributing to cloud-based Music Station Services, and as a High School Mathematics and Physics Teacher at Morpeth School and Bromley Schools Collegiate. Jon’s career began at John Lewis Partnership, progressing from a Programmer in Financial Systems to Senior Programmer in the Application Support Group after completing a three-year IT graduate training scheme. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Oxford.
