Rich Hamer began their career in 1982 as a Senior Director of Bioinformatics at Aventis, where they participated in numerous business deals, partnerships and collaborations. In 2000, they became the Chief Scientist at Viaken. In 2003, they were appointed CEO of Cayenne Inc. and in 2004, they became the Vice President of OriGene Technologies.
Rich Hamer obtained a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Iowa between 1979 and 1982.
