Brian Thomas

Brian Thomas has extensive experience in geology, currently serving as Development Geologist and Geoscience Lead at Origin Energy since March 2013. Responsibilities have included evaluating CSG Walloons potential in the Surat Basin and leading exploration and appraisal project planning. Prior roles involved oversight of geological operations as Senior Operations Geologist and field supervision as Operations Geologist at Earth Data Pty Ltd. Brian's earlier experiences include data engineering and logging geology at Geolog International B.V., and a position as Recycling Advisor at Hyder. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Geology (Hons) from the University of South Wales, complemented by A-levels in Geology, Geography, and Environmental Science.
