Liam Barry

Liam Barry has extensive experience in corporate strategy and investor relations, currently serving as the Head of Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations at Origin Energy since March 2012. Previous roles at Origin Energy include General Manager of Energy & Commercial for Origin Zero, Group Manager of Investor Relations, and Manager of Corporate Transactions and Strategy. Prior to joining Origin Energy, Liam Barry worked at KPMG Australia from January 2000 to March 2012 as a Manager in Transaction Services. Liam Barry holds multiple qualifications, including a Diploma of Investor Relations from the Australasian Investor Relations Association, an MBA in Strategic Carbon Management from the University of East Anglia, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial Services Institute of Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Finance, and French from the University of Technology Sydney. Education was completed at St Ignatius' College, Riverview, at the high school level.
