Shane Smidt

Shane Smidt is an experienced LNG Maintenance Planner Scheduler at Origin Energy since October 2014, where responsibilities include compiling detailed work plans and coordinating with stakeholders for Reedy Creek CSG operations using Oracle eAMS CMMS. Prior to this role, Shane worked at BP from 1998 to September 2014, serving in various capacities including Lead Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, where expertise in producing schedules with P6 Primavera and MS Project was demonstrated. Shane also has extensive mechanical skills involving rotating equipment, compressors, and safety devices, along with supervisory experience as an area planner and coordinator from 2007 to 2011. Educational qualifications include a Dual Trade Certificate in Fitting and Turning and Sheet Metal from TAFE Queensland, attained in 2013 and 2002, along with a Senior Certificate from Sandgate District State High School, completed in 1996.
