Tim Hayes

Tim Hayes is an accomplished engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Eraring BESS projects at Origin Energy, overseeing nationally significant projects valued at $1.05 billion AUD since January 2011. Hayes has extensive experience in the field, having previously held roles as Senior Instrument and Electrical Engineer and Technical Authority, focusing on instrument and electrical engineering, hazardous area engineering, and gas processing functional safety systems. Earlier in their career, Hayes worked as an Instrument and Electrical Maintenance and Reliability Engineer and gained operations engineering experience as a Graduate Instrument, Electrical & Control Systems Engineer. Previous positions include an Undergraduate Electrical Engineer at Anglo American and an Apprentice Electrician at Gayrad Transformers and Power Supplies. Tim Hayes holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with honors from Queensland University of Technology, awarded in 2010.
