Evie Trolove's work experience includes various roles in the energy and engineering industry. Evie is currently working at Orion NZ Ltd as the Head of Market and Customer Innovation. Prior to this, they were the Energy Futures Programme Manager at Orion NZ Ltd. Before joining Orion NZ Ltd, Evie worked at UK Power Networks as an Innovation Project Lead, where they were responsible for leading innovation projects that informed flexibility markets and business strategy. Evie also managed a portfolio of vehicle-to-grid trials under the TransPower project. Earlier in their career, Evie worked at Energy Networks Association as an Engineering Programme Manager, where they coordinated industry working groups focused on low carbon technologies and network innovation. Evie started their career at WorleyParsons, working as a Graduate Process Engineer and also completed a summer internship at WorleyParsons.

Evie Trolove completed their Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Canterbury, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they obtained various certifications including APM Project Management Qualification from the Association for Project Management in 2018, Fire Science and Fire Extinguishers from Wood Group PSN in 2015, Taranaki Passport from Be Safe Training & Services in 2015, and Comprehensive First Aid from New Zealand Red Cross in 2014.
