Steve Macdonald has extensive experience in the electricity and infrastructure sectors, having spent over two decades at Orion NZ Ltd in various leadership roles including General Manager for the Electricity Network and Infrastructure. Previous roles at Orion include Engineering Support Manager, Sales and Technical Support Manager, Substation Project Manager, and Connections Manager. Before joining Orion, Steve worked as a High Voltage Test Technician at Connetics and as a Foreman at Aotea Electric, focusing on commercial electrical construction and site management. Steve Macdonald completed education at Papanui High School from 1986 to 1990.
