Amanda Holden

Amanda Holden currently serves as an Education Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction at the Orlando Science Center, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this, Amanda was a Middle School Science Teacher at Seminole County Public Schools from August 2016 to June 2023, where contributions included developing engaging lesson plans, leading a team of 12 science teachers, organizing a school-wide science fair, and mentoring students for science competitions. Amanda's educational career also includes roles as a Mathematics Teacher and Science Teacher at StarChild Academy, a Tutor at Sylvan Learning, and various positions that involved environmental research and teaching assistance. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the Florida Institute of Technology.
