Orlando Alancastro

Orlando Alancastro currently serves as the Vice President of Transmission at the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC), leading the planning, development, and maintenance of electric transmission systems and infrastructure since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as the Director of Energy Services and Contract Management at OUC, overseeing engineering and maintenance for outdoor lighting and EV charging, and Vice President of Project Management at Qualus Power Services, where Orlando ensured effective project delivery and enhanced the Project Management Office. Earlier positions at OUC included Director of Distribution Engineering and Director of Contract, Finance & Project Management, leading teams in engineering services and supporting operational needs across various projects. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Management from Crummer Graduate School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, complemented by involvement as VP of External Affairs at ALPFA, Inc.
