Bert Bruggink, is currently an independent consultant based in the Netherlands and he is a corporate advisor to ORIX. In 2016, Mr. Bruggink stepped down as the Chief Financial Officer of Rabobank after the maximum term of twelve years. He worked for 30 years at Rabobank in different roles in finance, risk management and treasury/capital markets, both domestically and internationally. During his career he served on a number of boards of directors, predominantly in the Netherlands, and has served as the chairman of the audit committees of such boards on a number of occasions. Mr. Bruggink received an MSc in Industrial Engineering from University of Twente in 1986 and a PhD in Financial Engineering from University of Twente in 1989. He is currently a part time professor in Financial Engineering and Risk Management at University of Twente.
