Alex Kaplan is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and aerospace design. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Ormat Technologies, Inc. since October 2017, Alex has previously held positions at Elbit Systems Ltd as a Mechanical Engineer and at CADRON AVIATION TECHNOLOGIES and Dynamic Jet Engineering Ltd. as an Aerospace Design Engineer. A consistent contributor to the aerospace field, Alex spent over a decade at SGD Engineering Ltd. and IAI - Israel Aerospace Industries, further honing expertise in design and engineering. Alex's career began at Vnukovo Aerocraft Plant, where a foundational role as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Chief Designer was established. Alex holds a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering from Moscow Aviation Institute.
