Romy Wakil

Romy Wakil is a seasoned professional in the field of psychotherapy and mental health, currently serving as the Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion & Therapeutic Manager at Orri since March 2019. Romy facilitates an anti-discriminatory culture and leads therapeutic services for clients recovering from eating disorders. Additionally, Romy works as a Consultant Therapist with the Refugee Trauma Initiative, providing trauma-based therapy for male refugees in Greece. Romy also operates a private practice specializing in relational trauma therapy. Past roles include Psychodynamic Therapist at The Recover Clinic and Specialist Support Officer at One Housing, among others. Romy holds a Master's Degree in Counselling from The University of Edinburgh and a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of St Andrews.
