Nikita Shah

Nikita Shah is a Partner in the Technology Companies Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, having started in February 2023. With extensive experience in corporate law, Shah previously served as Associate General Counsel at MasterClass from May 2018 to January 2021 and as an attorney at Cooley LLP from July 2012 to May 2018, where responsibilities included serving as outside general counsel for emerging growth and public technology companies. Shah's legal expertise encompasses corporate securities, governance, and contract negotiation across various transactions, including venture capital financings, M&A, and public offerings. Additional experience includes roles at Techstars, Hall Griffin LLP, and the Committee for Public Counsel Services, as well as early positions as a summer associate at Arent Fox and Google. Shah holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from UCLA, and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from John F. Kennedy High.
