Vilhelm Vig Nielsen

Vilhelm Vig Nielsen is currently the Director and Head of Corporate Strategy at Ørsted, a position held since January 2021, where responsibility includes leading a team of six and driving the development of long-term strategic initiatives for the company. With a strong background in corporate strategy, Vilhelm has previously served as Senior Manager and Consultant at Ørsted and Boston Consulting Group, respectively, gaining extensive experience in various sectors including energy and private equity. Prior positions include Senior Management Consultant at Bain & Company and earlier roles in academic and semi-professional sports settings. Vilhelm holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and has completed leadership training at Harvard Kennedy School.
