Amit Nandi

Amit Nandi has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. In 2000, they began their career at Stryker as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they were responsible for pilot-plant manufacturing of Aquarelle Hydrogel Disc Nucleus spinal implants. In 2001, they moved to Medtronic as a Senior Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, where they were responsible for the transfer of molding and manufacturing of Everest Angioplasty Balloon Inflation Device. In 2006, they joined Infraredx as a Manufacturing Manager and was responsible for building an Operations group from the ground up. In 2010, they moved to Sequent Medical as a Senior Manager of Operations and was responsible for Operations readiness for all new products. In 2016, they joined MicroVention-Terumo as an Associate Director of Operations and was responsible for overseeing production lines in multiple locations. Most recently, in 2022, they joined OrthAlign, Inc. as the Vice President of Operations.

Amit Nandi completed their Bachelor of Science in Agricultural & Biological Engineering from Cornell University in 1997. Amit then went on to obtain a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2000.
