Cameron Piron

Cameron Piron possesses extensive experience in the medical and technology sectors, currently serving on the Dean's advisory council at the University of Waterloo since April 2022. As President of Synaptive Medical since May 2013, Cameron has demonstrated leadership in advanced medical technology. Additional roles include Board Member at Conavi Medical and Executive Chair at Orthogonal Inc., both held since 2010. Previously, Cameron held positions as VP of Advanced Technology at Hologic and President at Sentinelle Medical. Early career experience includes serving as a Research Engineer at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre from 2001 to 2003. Cameron holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Physics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
