Venu Shamapant is a founding partner at LiveOak Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Austin, TX, focusing on technology and technology-driven services in Texas and the Southwest since 2011. In addition to this role, Venu holds multiple board positions, including member of the board of directors for Revisto, Illuma, AmplifAI Solutions, Inc., Osano, TrustRadius, Spyderbat, and Flo Recruit, as well as serving as an investor in Take Command and data.world. Venu's educational background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Osmania University.
