Brennan Helwig

Brennan Helwig is an experienced fisheries biologist with a robust background in ecological restoration, fish passage engineering, and environmental assessment. Currently employed at Osborn Consulting as a Fisheries Biologist, Brennan conducts environmental reviews and prepares assessments focused on salmonids. Previous roles include Fish Passage Engineer for King County, where technical expertise was provided for fish passageway projects, and Environmental Biologist for Pierce County, where fish-passage inventories were analyzed. Brennan also has field experience with the Wild Fish Conservancy and significant research background from positions at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from San Francisco State University.
