Heather Spates

Heather Spates is an experienced Geographic Information Systems Analyst currently working at Osborn Consulting, Inc. since August 2023. With a strong background in GIS, Heather has held various positions, including Communications/Technology Manager at Fairwood Community United Methodist Church since August 2016, where responsibilities include website administration and technology implementation. Previous roles include GIS and Database Specialist with the City of Auburn, both in contract and permanent capacities, and serving as a GIS Specialist with the Washington State Department of Transportation. Heather has also contributed as a Cartographer for Yoh Consulting and the Washington State Department of Transportation and volunteered as an Atlas Volunteer. Heather holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental/Engineering Geology with a GIS Minor from Western Washington University and has utilized GIS expertise in multiple urban and transportation planning projects.
